Goblin Court v3

Goblin Court Version Three

Better Late Than Never Edition

I've been wanting to write a major Goblin Court update for a long time, and the Classic Explorer Workshop jam finally got me in gear to do it! ...a week late for the jam, but it's done.

The most obvious change is the shiny new template, courtesy the CEW jam. It helped guide choices I've been noodling over for a while, like adding images (that aren't so illustrative that they don't leave room for your own vision of the Goblins, Castle, and Court). Another obvious addition supported by Clayton's template is the sidebars providing tips and commentary. I wrestled with commentary for a long time, because I don't want to insist on what Goblin Court is about or step on your creative toes, but I do want to clarify some points and offer ideas; I hope I've reached a happy balance here.

The rules themselves are also modified. The Goblin Court never felt comfy as a member of the Lasers & Feelings family, so although v3's core dice-rolling experience feels similar I've sprinkled it with small quality of life adjustments and rules changes to better reflect our Gobliny principles. It's definitely *not* an L&F drift anymore. Pay special attention to the Dice Outcomes section, both what happens and who says so.

Goblin Moms will find an expanded set of guidance for running the games. I left you on your own a lot before, and maybe even gave you some misleading advice. Perhaps now I've given you too much, feel free to ignore it just like you probably did before--after all, Mother knows the group's needs better than I do.

My thanks to everygobby who's supported me, and greetings to everygoblin yet to come.
